Pamela Butler
Founder of The Beauty Patrol, Pamela has been considered a respected and accomplished professional makeup artist for over 20 years. This long-standing tradition of excellence is what prompted Pamela to found The Beauty Patrol. She is the Chief Happiness Officer who makes sure your experience meets her high standards. While working independently was an option, Pamela prefers working with her peers. Pamela strives in this industry because she had not only a passion for makeup artistry but also people. The importance of both art and commerce was instilled during her employment with various corporate cosmetic brands, including Cosmopolitan Magazine, Netflix, Vogue Online, Churchill Downs Magazine, Tops Magazine, The Voice-Tribune, MAC, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Christian Dior and Too Faced. She was the winner of The Best of Wedding Award in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 , 2023 and Hall of Fame, from theknot.com based on client reviews. Experienced in not only bridal, but also photography, film, runway, commercial, and television including NBC and TLC. Pamela has worked both locally and nationally, providing a variety of services to clients. Pam is a nurturer by nature with sense of humor. When she’s not working she spends time on her mini farm with her husband and family.
Alexis
"When you look fantastic, you feel fantastic." That's the kind of feeling Alexi wants to give clients. She has always been fascinated with the beauty industry, growing up she quickly learned that she wanted to do both hair and makeup. Alexis gained her cosmetology license in Indiana at Prosser School of Cosmetology and later studied at Faces by Kathy Moberly. She decided that she not only wanted my Indiana license but Kentucky's as well, which led her to where she is employed now, Serene Salon. Alexis has years of experience in photo, bridal, and event hair and makeup. The most rewarding about this industry is being able to connect with each person who sits in the chair and creating the best version of whatever it is they want. Alexis loves travel and the outdoors. She’s a dog mom and brings a calm presence to her bridal parties.
Helen
Helen is an expert hair stylist . After completing two years of college, she decided to follow her passion and enroll in The Hair Design School finishing in 1992. she has decades of experience. She has trained in Chicago, New York, and Cincinnati to further her love for hair cutting, coloring, and hairstyling. Helen enjoys the art of up styling and creating beautiful styles for weddings and photos. Helen is proudly a part of The Beauty Patrol as a hairstylist. Helen is a dog lover, yoga enthusiast, and a mother of three. Helen has a calm, quiet energy that bridal parties enjoy for a relaxing experience.
Laura
Laura Conard is a true people person and a lover of all things pretty and shiny! So naturally, Laura is right at home in the World of Weddings. She was a bride herself 20+ years ago and a mother to two fabulous young ladies. Laura is a 20+ year accomplished Master Hairdresser and Colorist with a busy salon career. Laura loves traveling (everywhere) to continue her education in Hair Cutting, Coloring and of course Styling. She gets all giggly while creating the Hair Goals for each Bride she meets!
Jeni
Jeni is a Beauty Patrol makeup artist based in Lexington but she loves to travel too. She enjoys having the latest makeup items in her arsenal of cosmetic. Jeni loves a glam makeup and she will be your biggest hype gal for your special event. Jeni is also a nurse, married with two children.
Corie
Corie is a licensed cosmetologist who has worked in the beauty industry for seven years. Working in a spa provides her the opportunity to prepare clients for important events. She loves doing skin enhanced looks for clients. When she’s not working she loves running, reading, attending sporting events and hanging out with her fur babies.
Madison
Madison is very passionate about her career as a licensed hairstylist and salon owner. Wedding hair has been a favorite of hers ever since she started cosmetology school. Creating a personal style for someone on their special day gives her so much joy and allows her to express creativity. Madison loves sharing her skill to give her clients confidence and excitement.
Lyndsey
With her passion always being in the arts, entering the beauty industry was a no-brainer. After apprenticing with a fellow member of The Beauty Patrol for some time she became a freelance makeup artist with experience ranging from Photography, Events, Models and her favorite Weddings. Having a bride look into the mirror on her wedding day smiling ear to ear and tears in her eye is an amazing feeling. You help amplify happiness on one of the most important days of her life. Lyndsey can also offer cosmetic tattoos.
Jessica
Jessica has been a licensed hairstylist for just over 10 years and has been involved with wedding styles from earlier than that. Coming from a family of hairstylists, she knew at an early age how special it is to help someone feel great about themselves and be involved in such a big life moment. Jessica opened a salon called SAINT in January 2019 to have the ability to control, cultivate, and customize her guest's experience in the salon and during their weddings and events. Jessica loves being able to service brides through colors, cut, extensions, and styling to ensure they feel the most beautiful and comfortable on their big day. Jessica is all about lived-in color, textured haircuts, and effortless updos. She wants the color to be melty and dimensional; styles to be soft and chic. Her work has been featured in few local publications and online such as Louisville Wedding Mag, Louisville Bride, The Voice Tribune, Style Blueprint, Tops Louisville, and Green Wedding Shoes.
Juliana
Juliana has been in the beauty industry for years and loves every minute of it. She is a licensed cosmetologist, doing hair and makeup, in Ohio for a couple of years when then decided to move to Louisville. Since moving, Juliana worked with Tops Louisville, Style Blueprint, Kentucky Derby Fashion Show, and more. Juliana is educated in many different brands and products regarding hair and makeup. She is a full time stylist at Crescent Haircraft. Juliana is currently studying massage therapy and loves incorporating relaxing techniques to her services.
Kenzie
Identifying as an aesthetic creative, Kenzie found a natural fit in the wedding industry. She attended makeup courses in 2016 at Faces by Kathy Moberly and soon after became immersed in bridal makeup. She now has 4+ years of experience in bridal makeup and also has experience in runway and editorial makeup. Realizing how passionate she was about wedding aesthetics, Kenzie didn’t stop at just makeup - she is also a calligrapher and in 2017 opened her calligraphy shop, The Wispy Diary. She now offers both makeup and calligraphy services for all of her wedding parties. She absolutely loves every part of her profession, stating; “I get to help women feel beautiful on the most important day of their life, seriously - my job is a dream!”
Shawn
Shawn has been passionate about helping people look their best since 2004! He was cutting and styling as a boy, he truly loves to make peoples day. His advanced training has led him to Aveda institute in New York, and Minneapolis –Bumble University in Manhattan – and the Network group in Connecticut. Shawn truly believes education elevates his client experience. Shawn is a full time Image Profile maker for Browhaus Louisville.
Sarah
Sarah has a long standing love of makeup. She joined The Beauty Patrol after turning her passion into career. Sarah is a key player on the team by staying on top of new products that help her clients achieve their beauty goals. She loves doing beautiful natural and natural glam bridal makeup.
